WHO SHOULD DO THIS COURSE?
This course will be of immense value to you if any of the following situations apply to you:
- You’re a Project Manager who wants to develop a new, unique, highly valuable skillset
- You’re a Project Manager who has a mission-critical project which cannot run late
- You’re a Program Manager running a portfolio of projects
- You’ve been told you have to ‘work smarter, not harder’ or ‘do more with less’ or any similar phrases
- You’re a startup with limited funding and want to get your product to market as quickly as possible
- You’re a company trying to get products to market ahead of your competitors
- You’re an organisation trying to deliver business benefits to its customers / stakeholders
- You’re tired of fire fighting / late hours / nasty surprises and would like to find a better way to get your work done
- You’re responsible for a project delivery organisation i.e. an organisation delivering multiple projects using a fixed pool of resources
- You’re an organisation where every day saved on a project is vital and would have a direct money amount associated with that saving
- You’re an organisation being asked to do too many projects with not enough resources
- You’re having difficulty bringing projects in on time.
This course is not for everybody. So you shouldn’t do it if:
- You’re convinced that your projects can’t be done any quicker than they’re being done
- There’s no benefit – financial or otherwise – to having your project(s) finish sooner
- You don’t really plan projects properly anyway
- You believe that since project shortening isn’t in the PMBOK, it doesn’t exist and therefore, can’t be done
- You feel that the way you do things at the moment is fine and can’t really be improved upon
- Money isn’t really an issue in your job – money is just budgets, numbers on a page, as opposed to actual money.
