8 Do It Anyway

In the preceding section, the reason I said that getting buy-in is optional is because you can decide to focus on the ‘Wildly Important’ things and disregard the rest anyway.

How is this?

It’s simple.

We talked previously about how some things are low value and some high value.

So when your boss (or anybody else) asks, ‘Why didn’t you do that low value thing?’, you say, ‘Because I did a high value thing.’

That’s pretty much gonna be the end of the discussion!
