5 Flip the Switch

Flipping the switch just involves a mindset change. It’s something that’s entirely under your control.

Whether you know it or not, there may be a switch in your head that is set to the setting, ‘How can I get everything done?’

When the switch is set to that setting your focus is on ‘clearing the list’. You become a slave to the list.

And remember that trying to clear the list is a bit like hunting for unicorns or looking for the crock of gold at the end of the rainbow. It’s pointless. It’s mad! You’ll never clear the list.

So throw the switch.

Set it to a different setting.

Set it to ‘What will I do today?’

Instead of trying to get everything done, ask yourself how you can best fill the time?

Now, instead of being a slave, you become the master.
